Summary: I know fans of the original Syndicate probably won't care for this. EA basically ripped all the lore and core story elements from the old PC game and painted them onto a cookie-cutter shooter. I like shooters and I like the techno-punk feel and look of the environments but at it's heart this game really isn't anything but another CoD clone with the ability to slow time and a few special moves that come along with your nano-chip.
Summary: So, it is a first person shooter. You play a corporate employee that is a tough dude that follows orders till the world changes under him. Can use his implanted chip to affect bad guys and alter combat. Good graphics, easy to learn combat, ok story. This game is a filler game, took me about 6 hours to complete. Not a lot of replay in the future. If you are looking to kill time between games, this is your game. If you are looking for something more in-depth, keep looking.
Summary: A disappointing game. First: whoever decided to change Syndicate from a top-down strategy game to an fps should be shot. Second: the game is boring. often, the best way to play this FPS is to not shoot anybody, but instead run up to your enemies and press melee - an instant kill (with only about 4 or 5 different animations). I basically got to the end of the game just doing this and using guns against the bosses. At a minimum, they could have included a multiplayer.
Summary: I'll be writing a very short review but hopefully someone will find this helpful. This game is very fun a good FPS but standard with some what Mega man power stealing mixed in. I had a fun time playing this game but I think it would of been better of as a rental.
Summary: Reviewers all over said it shines with multiplayer, but SP is poor. They weren't kidding. I usually don't play games based on other reviewers opinions, which is why I picked this up. I'm not really a multiplayer kinda guy so the SP campaign is disappointing. Every few days I put it on, play for about 10 minutes and get bored and frustrated, turn it off and hope that the nexttime I'll be more into it, but I'm not.
Summary: Tl;dr ...Button mashing, annoying boss fights, finding hidden items, and generic enemies are what you get when you buy this game. The visuals and the story behind the game are amazing. I love the story line. I love the in-game tech. And that is about where my love ends. You are constantly hammered with annoying button mashing (I.e.
Summary: If you remember Bullfrog's Syndicate game for PC and SNES from the 1990's and want something remotely like that, just move on. Are they gone? Good. That game was overrated anyway. This is a modern FPS brought to us by the capable hands of Starbreeze Studios, the same people who brought us those cool Riddick games from last generation.
