Overall, it's not world class material, but it's decent, and I truly found Samurai Shodown Sen to be pretty fun. It's not like previous iterations as the gameplay is watered down for attempts to change it with brutality,... Read more

Superman Returns is a game which is based on the story of the movie of the same name. The central character is the super hero, Superman. Clark Kent, as the secret identity of Superman is also the basic central character. The character Superman has the ability to fly in the air, but he cannot get or dive into deep ocean waters. In this game, the city has the problem of an impending meteor fall or shower that can destroy mankind. The character Superman is there to save the city with his extraordinary powers. The player assumes the role of Superman to hit the meteors before they hit the ground and destroy the city.

Review Summary

Superman Returns is a really exciting game. At the start of this game, players are taught on how to use their intriguing superpowers which include the power of heat vision, the power of cold breath and super-breath. Each one of these powers comes with an extra-super mode which requires the use of the highest level of stamina to be used. As the game proceeds on, your power goes weak as you use it but as you go on, your strength level will go up again. If you are just an ardent fan and couldn’t care less about the plot then this is the game for you. The game doesn’t really develop much like one of its reviewers said. This game features many exciting scenes that will keep players on the edge of their seats including battles involving Metallo, Bizarro and many more. Afterwards, there’s no stopping the action as players are sent zooming through the streets if Metropolis while at the same time bashing various robots, giant lizards but it’s the flying that will make players excited and thrilled. Superman’s job as usual is to keep the city clean of any viruses, in other words battling villains while at the same time rescuing injured civilians. This is the same old routine of Superman which might bore many. But ardent fans of this superhero will never be bore of what he does. If they could read the comic books over and over again why not can they play the game over and over again.
