Good game

  • Summary: This was truly a fun game. It was an awesome experience to play this game and try to rack up a style streak similar to Tony Hawk video games. Too bad there was no sequel.

  • Summary: This game is fun for a shoot-em-up player. Full of action. Not much in the open world just mainly scenario shooting. Very fun though.

For the price, you absolutely can't go wrong

Chad Eberhart, Amazon
30 July 2012
  • Summary: I bought this game for $5 about a year ago, and honestly, it was probably the best game purchase I've made. The game is basically Max Payne Lite, set in Hong Kong. It's a brainless action game, filled with slow-motion battles and other really cool ways to kill enemies. The graphics don't live up to the standards of this generation, but then again, graphics aren't the most important aspects of most games. It's challenging, fun, and worth your time.

Stranglehold gets repetitive but..

SFmania, Amazon
1 June 2011
  • Summary: Its still a fun game in spurts. If you play this game for 30 minutes each session then you will enjoy the the game. You cannot play this game for long periods because it will just get boring & feel extremely repetitive. Its simiar to Max Payne with the gunplay but adds in style as key feature.

For this cheap, its a lot of fun

darthbrooks, Amazon
23 December 2010
  • Summary: The game Stranglehold is a good game. Some may find the difficulty a little much, others may feel like they have been doing the same thing over and over again (slowing down time and watching an animation of you shooting a man in the face or crotch or wherever). It is a fun game in that it rewards you for how stylish you take out bad guys. The problem is you don't really have enough time to pull off the stylish stunt/shooting sequences.

Not a bad action game

C. Pipher III, Amazon
12 September 2009
  • Summary: This game has some neat features, which make it alot of fun. I bought this used for a great price, which made this even more fun. Worth playing if you have not played it yet, it felt like being in a John Woo film yourself.

  • Summary: Stranglehold is a great game that takes a good while to beat. The environments are totally destructible and the action is top notch!
