Summary: I had such high hopes for this game and was utterly stunned by how bad it was. Not just that it's a flawed or bad game, or has some bugs--it's completely unplayable! I spent a good 8 hours on the 360 trying to get through the story mode but it's like the developers didn't want me to enjoy it or even finish the game, like they went out of their way to make it as bad as possible--like spite I had such high hopes for this game and was utterly stunned by how bad it was.
Summary: This is a good game if you like the Star Trek series. The campaign mission takes you from Enterprise series to TOS, TNG, and Voyager by a common story told with all the voices from all the series captains from Archer, Kirk, Picard, and Janeway. I thought the story was intriguing almost like a movie. It's also fun to pilot the various ships although they have limited controls.
Summary: If you have insomnia and you're fresh out of NyQuil, try playing STL. You'll be fast asleep in no time. The voice acting is laughable, the visuals are bland, and the missions are absolutely boring. I'd find it hard to believe that even the geekiest of Star Trek fan would find this game fun.
Summary: As a big fan of Star Trek, I was really looking forward to playing this game. Desipte the less than stellar reviews, I decided to purchase this game anyway, because I thought the novelty of piloting the Enterprise might distract me from any flaws in the game mechanics. sadly, i was very VERY wrong. Even if the gameplay during the battles was better, the overall way the game is setup is just poorly done.
