Summary: If you already think JRPGs are boring, don't bother with this game. However, if you enjoyed games like The Last Remnant, Magna Carta 2, etc, then I would highly recommend this game. Like those games this one has its flaws, mostly technical, but it can still be very enjoyable. The environment and battle graphics were great, but the characters always seemed a little off, especially their faces and when they were speaking.
Summary: great price, and i really enjoyed the game, and it came in the mail pretty quickly i missed playing the star ocean series, though the battle system changed a bit since the last star ocean i played long ago on the ps2 it was enough to be enjoyable.
Solid RPG, one of the better JRPG's available on XBox 360.

Summary: I'm about 30 hours in on this game, and I am loving it. Barely scratching the surface of the weapon creation and only on the 3rd planet - There are annoying bits with the female characters, but I suspect it is mostly due to the translation and general bad voice acting. Hardly enough of a drawback to take away from the overall enjoyment of the game. Action RPG with strategic elements, tons of things to upgrade and customize, intriguing story thus far, I dig it.
Summary: Very underrated RPG. To me, the battle system is soo much more entertaining. The storyline is really good. The characters are likeable, they can be a bit annoying but every rpg character tends to be at a certain point in the game. The music is beautiful, you would easily fall in love with some of the music in this game.
Summary: The first time I played Star Ocean was for PS2 and it was Til The End Of Time and I loved it. I switched platforms and I wasn't quite sure how I would like it on the 360. The game was great. Wasn't as good as Til the end of time. I liked the story line better on that one. This one last hope, is up to par. I was not dissatisfied with game at all.
Summary: Great fast-paced real-time battle system with multiple playable characters, huge, vast, fully-explorable worlds, space travel, over 30 or 40 hours of cinematics, detailed character storylines that keep the player interested in each of their extremely interesting pasts, and an extremely fast-paced, strategic battle system which gives the player almost no time to think until you open up the items and magic menu to take a breather.
