Summary: The only reason my friends and I bought the game was to play local and online multiplayer against each other... Oh, wait, I forgot EA's "revolutionary" ghosting, which has been done before and doesn't allow you to play your friends, only a ghost image of their player from a previous run. Thumbs down, and we have all traded in our games. EA, you suck!
Summary: Ssx is absolutely the WORST game I ever played. I've never seen a franchise go so far downhill after one release. As many may have heard, there is no split screen two/multiplayer avaliable for the game.. What? That's what sssx is.. Sure there were some one player moments in ssx, but why was it one of the ps2s greatest games? You invite real people over and have a good time in the same physician location. All this online crap is a very dissociative experience.
Summary: What a let down. A return to form? I think not... SSX 3 and SSX Tricky were two great snowboarding games for many reasons. The customization allowed you to give your character a little style. The music was fun and upbeat. The courses were optimized for gameplay and were lit up like an amusement park. There were all sorts of shortcuts to find and little surprises along the way that kept the game interesting. No two runs were the same.
Summary: Well, it's another sequel from EA that fails to live up to the hype. To start, my game would freeze just after the "game save" warning screen. That's right, right after the game started up, it freezes while trying to connect to RiderNet. I found out that after waiting 4-5 minutes, the game would become useable, however, this is where the game goes downhill. For some background, I used to be really into SSX 3.
Anyone who thinks this is good has not played the PS2 games.

Summary: They have ruined SSX with this game. The only good things about SSX4 are (I) the music and (II) the fact that it makes you want to play SSX3. The tracks are not intuitive, rather they are out to make you crash and die. Previous SSX games had beautifully crafted mountains that were based on fantasy. No more. SSX4 has dispensed with the fantasy and made life-like mountains that are a total bore to carve. They are lifeless snow hills with too many death drops.
Summary: A modern day reinvention of one of the most critically acclaimed arcade franchises of all-time crashes & burns.& u can see the flames from outer space, EA Sports SSX will allow players to experience the franchise's signature fun and adrenaline-packed gameplay across iconic mountain ranges all over the world. But don't expect too much unless you want to be disappointed, because you will be.
Summary: I bought this as a gift for my sister's Birthday. We have grown up playing SSX and I thought getting her the game on XBox would be awesome! However, huge disappointment when we put the game in to play and found out it is only a one player game :( The best part of SSX was it's multiplayer quality - this has totally been lost...
Summary: OK so I played the older games and they were alright, skip forward a few years and I thought I'd try this. The first few runs are alright but basically I got stuck for hours and hours on the first Siberia level and it's just impossible to amass a high enough score to pass unless you're some kind of freak. I don't have time for this and there aren't even any decent multiplayer options.
