Summary: Split second is a game that doesn't fit the Disney mold but the game is challenging, fun, and doesn't get repetetive it has alot of route changings during races the ability to be trailing during a race and cause part of the track to make cars leading to be blocked off and crash was a great concept. The visuals for the game are amazing and many of ther aces are based on strategy and decision making. Excellent game.
Summary: Multiplayer sucks because there are so few gamers, the game is very off balanced. People who have finished the game and got the fastest cars are mixed in with those who are newish. Very innovative with the power plays though loved that. I would recommend playing online only when you have gotten some of the fastest cars.
Summary: This game escapes from being just another driving game by the inclusion of some amazing set pieces. Building collapse, the track gets altered and so on. The graphics really are stunning and it's really exciting to play. If I can give one criticism (and really, maybe it's just cause I'm old), sometimes there is just so much going on on-screen that I can't follow what's going on, usually resulting in a big crash for my poor vehicle :-( Still, you can likely get this cheap...
Summary: The best way to descibe Split/Second is a marriage between Michael Bay and Need for Speed. The adsurd premise revolves around a reality tv show that varous promoters have entered their own drivers to compete in these races. Each level is presented as an episode of this show. You can earn the ability to control the destruction of the course by earning points through drafting, drifting, cornering, etc.
Summary: Downloaded the demo and always wanted to pull the trigger and make the purchase. When it hit the proper price point on Amazon i jumped on it. Not as polished as Forza but that's just it! It's not trying to be. It's a FUN action Racing game similar to Burnout 2.
