Summary: For the most part, they got this one right. Good combat, decent story, decent graphics. The swinging (the most important part) is rather well done. 95% of your webs will attach to actual buildings, the only time they will hit the sky is when you are really high up. Also the animations shown after you boost off of the end of a web are incredible. Overall, a good choice.
If you are in the mood for Spidey action, definitely pick this game up.

Summary: This is currently the best Spider-Man video game to date for the current generation of video game consoles (PS3, Wii and Xbox 360). It offers a lot of replay value, the ability to switch between the red & blue costume and the black costume (in the middle of game-play no less) but perhaps its best feature, free roam. You can swing across New York's skyline until your heart is content.
Summary: I bought the game used and was at first skeptical that it would work or even look in good condition, but when I finally got it, it was great! The game turned out to be so much fun but the sad thing is you can't start over with all the powers you gained :( other than that, I highly recommend.
Summary: I'll be honest about the glitches; there were a lot. But great combat, decent graphics, the funny and ridiculously cheesy story makes this a must buy. Switching between the suits makes for excellent combat, the web swinging was excellent. Just one issue; the glitch infested lock-on camera ruins a perfect experience from time to time. A little more polish on this system would have been better.
Summary: Let me start off by saying that Spider-Man 2 , one of the best "movie" tie-in video games ever, was one of my all time favorite games of the original Xbox's lifespan. I always saw Web of Shadows, but ignored it for whatever reason. I started paying more attention to it recently, and decided to give it a shot. It seems to be fans' favorite of the current generation of Spider-Man games, so why not? Is it worth it? Is Web of Shadows the best Spidey game out there right now?
Summary: The game has an interesting feature that allow you to choose your path that will lead to one of four possible ending. The game combat system is creative as they let you switch between the Red/Blue and Black suit mid-combo allowing the player to string combo together using both suit (ground, air, and wall). Player can explore the street to the tallest building. Downside is that it can get repetitive throughout the game.
Summary: What can I really say? I'm a huge Spider-Man fan and if you're like me, all of the game's hiccups really gravitate a game that many will call sorta mediocre. With cameos like Luke Cage and Wolverine and the inclusion of putting the web slinger back in black, all I can say is this is fan service of the highest order. Is it a great game? Not quite but this is the best Spider-Man game in ages, my personel favorite next to the old Play Station game.
