Every action has consequences; every choice has meaning. What will you make of this, I wonder?

Tyler Tourk, Amazon
20 March 2015
  • Summary: A dark, deeply unsettling game with narrative twists that will make the unprepared or uninitiated's stomach's churn and boil, and even make hardcore shooter fans question the actions they take as you set out on a journey of murder, death, and absolute, cringing despair.

  • Summary: Great game. I was pointed to it when I mentioned that I have a hard time playing military type shooters because I feel bad about shooting a race of people based on the "official story" posed by the government. I went in to the game knowing there was going to be some decisions I would have to make.

Very Happy with buying it

Contra7, Amazon
29 October 2014
  • Summary: I heard spec ops had an extremely unique story and it is absolutely true. Very Happy with buying it, however the load times are somewhat long. Not like skyrim levels of long but about a minute maybe? maybe 45 seconds. Downloading it to the hard drive would definitely help.

Spec Ops The Line, underrated

Doc, Amazon
31 August 2014
  • Summary: Spec Ops The Line is truly underrated. This is a solid 3rd person shooter. With a solid command system, and reliable squad to cover your back even on the hard difficulties. Nolan North did yet again, another tremendous job voice acting throughout a mind blowing story arc.

rista blodorn, Amazon
16 July 2014
  • Summary: Spec Ops: The Line is a shooter that takes it's direction from Conrad's Heart of Darkness. And that's a good thing. Anyone that has ever seen Apocalypse Now will find haunting reminders of that movie as the player moves through the story.

HAH! It's a Game that tries to make you feel guilty!

John, Amazon
17 June 2014
  • Summary: I recall the Star Wars game going this road; gives you decisions and then tries to impose the guilt when you choose death. So far I've wiped out a church full of civilians and an Army of US forces and I'm loving it!!

Decent FPS redeemed by great story.

T. Freeman "theHuskerMAN!", Amazon
6 January 2014
  • Summary: The Line is not your typical war shooter it's much more. The story is well told even though the gameplay is buggy at times. Example, reloading and taking cover use the same button. On occasion I found myself taking un-needed damage because my character reloaded in the open instead of taking cover.

A pretty decent shooter

David C King, Amazon
5 December 2013
  • Summary: Pretty decent shooter, though controls could sometimes be clunky. Story is a bit muddled, but dialogue was fair. Liked the weapons!
