Summary: Despite its short game modes, this is a great game to play and an instant classic at best. Unlike Capcom's Street Fighter x Tekken and Street Fighter IV Volt... this game has every single character from the Dreamcast version of the game. I love this game and its graphics! The touch screen controls are fantastic and hearing the nostalgic sonudtrack reminds me of the days when I use to play Despite its short game modes, this is a great game to play and an instant classic...
Summary: Soulcalibur makes an immensely welcome return this time on the small screen, a port of my all time fave slice-em-up. When I heard this was on its way, I was eager to see if I felt the same feeling I did back in my nostalgic dreamcast owning days, the answer is no, but tt didn't stop me from getting back into the action and enjoying yet again.
Summary: Soulcalibur is Hands down one of the best Fighting Games ever! And without a Doubt the Best/Must Own Dreamcast game ever! [...] The 360 Arcade version is Close to Perfect! A Major Plus a HD Version which is killer The Controls being shifted from the DC Controller to the 360 Controller are very good once u get the feel for the layout.
An Inferior Rendition of an Otherwise Perfect Game

Summary: The original Soul Calibur debuted in the Arcade in 1998. And though it wasn't popular in the Arcade initially, it did have an enormous release on the Dreamcast. The original Soul Calibur is said to be one of the greatest games of all time. It's a shame then, that the XBOXLive Arcade game is more insistent on porting over the Arcade version as opposed to the Dreamcast variation of the game. The variation that was, by all standards, a far superior version.
Summary: as someone that own this on the Dreamcast, i can say that this is almost a perfect copy. it has all the fighters and moves, but its missing the mission mode. the mission mode was how you unlocked fighters and weapens in the dreamcast version. in this version, they are already unlocked for you. i would highly recommend this game for folks that never owned a dreamcast and want to play one of its gems.
