Summary: Hard to beleive we've hit the number Five when it comes to the Soul Calibur series...though technically it is the 6th game in the series. Funny how it clearly shows that not everything will age gracefully...Soul Calibur 5 is easily one of the most dreadfully disappointing releases in years.
Summary: I'm sorry to say it because I am a huge fan of the Soul Calibur series, but this is just the worst edition in the series. Period. Single player modes are just inexcusable; there is no content and it will bore you after 30 minutes of play.
Summary: This game is a huge disappointment. Save your money read this review to know why you won't be happy if you buy this game. Story mode: It took me about an hour to complete story mode. You'll note that the story mode only involves a handful of characters.
A shameful offering from a once respected franchise and team.

Summary: As my other review was plagued with the inane rantings of the cognitively destitute, it would appear amazon deleted it. Which is fine by me. This does not change the fact that the game itself is lacking in nearly every facet that attracted me to the series early on.
Summary: The short and simple version: This game lacks most of the content that makes an SC game an SC game. The long version is as follows: SCV lacks any kind of cohesive character creation item management system.
