Summary: This game has a very short story line. Its probably the same thing always. Lets not even talk about legend mode. The character creater was great, if you where a girl. Even the male character's clothes where girly. It needed more clothes. The arcade mode wasnt fun eater. Legend mode was the most disappointing part. Just D: And the combo list is impossible to read.
Summary: the worst game i ever owned(,& i have final fantasy xiii 2)i have 2(i've played the story 2x), played 3 on my friends ps2(best 1),& own 4(everything needs star wars characterz). i got 5 expecting great things,& new interesting characters, but i was highly disapointed. the main character is extremely wussified (or is it puss..
Summary: this game wasnt what i thought it would be most of the characters from earlier games were removed and some characters moves were readjusted and that made me return the game this game isnt any better than the fourth one namco shouldnt try to replace the orginal versions
Summary: disappointing update. story mode not as cool as previous versions, and my favorite character Seung Mina is missing. It would be nice if SoulCalibur added more breakable environments like Dead or Alive. And there's still the messed up stun-hits that some characters get that prevent the opponent from responding. the battle system is borked. avoid. my first disc didn't work, so of course i was pissed when the 2nd one worked and showed such a schlocky piece of programming.
Summary: I've been a fan of this series since I was a little kid, having played all except Soul Calibur 3. I greatly enjoyed all previous games, and still play SC4 every once in a while. When I found out that a fifth game was coming out, and with Ezio Auditore in it nonetheless, I was quite excited. However, upon starting the game, my excitement quickly dwindled to severe disappointment. The story is short and boring, with confusing transitions.
Summary: Hard to beleive we've hit the number Five when it comes to the Soul Calibur series...though technically it is the 6th game in the series. Funny how it clearly shows that not everything will age gracefully...Soul Calibur 5 is easily one of the most dreadfully disappointing releases in years. I have fond, wonderful memories of firing up Soul Blade (or Soul Edge) on my Playstation back in 1996.
Summary: Boo Terrible game compared to Soulcalibur IV! What we're they thinking we'll just put out anything and it will sell?! Well they lost a true fan of the game when they released this edition. DO NOT PURCHASE!
