Summary: I got the 3ds version before I got the console version. it was basicly the exact same as sonic rush but in 3D. the only good part of this game is the 3D. other than that get the ps3 or 360 version. the 3ds can handale a 3D platformer but the characters only move side to side, in the console version they can move forward, bacwards, and side to side. and the cutscenes are like comics. just speech bubbles with no animation the console version has cutscenes with animation.
Summary: It is extemely short. And I think many critics have already pointed this out but the level design is horrible. In order to be able to play through the levels without stopping because of obstacles you didn't see coming, you have to practice, practice, and practice. Which would be fine if the game-play itself was actually fun, but it isn't. There is a reason this game has an average critic score of 67 on Metacritic.
Summary: When i played it it was pretty fun and what I thought was Original Sonic would have his moves and New sonic would have his and there be different game play for both. I only played the game with Original Sonic it was fun though some of the music was the old music was remastered and was slightly annoying but then I got the Homing attack for Original Sonic ... the game was ruined for I never liked the new sonic because of the homing attack which made the game way too easy.
Summary: Although it might already seem obvious, no, I am not a Sonic the Hedgehog nut. So it is easier for me to point out obvious flaws in the game. Firstly the level desing, although it is better than the 3DS version, it STILL suffers from bland, and repetitive level desing. The level desing for both sonics hardly ever challenges you since you just have to hold left, throughout all the stages (up for modern Sonic.) Which makes the game feel extremely repetitive.
Summary: I really really had a bad time with this game. My gosh, this is one of the worst platformers I've ever played, the level desing is just...awful! That should be enough to deter any gamer away from this game. Unless you are a Sonic the Hedgehog nut, you will realize this game is barely worth a rental, or 10 dollars at the most. There are already about 13, yes THIRTEEN games that are better that this game! Check on Metacritic.
A game that does not deserve the price being asked

Summary: I don't give games a 1 very often, but I felt like I had to for this game. Why? Because the price that is being asked is ridiculous. WHEN YOU CONSIDER that this game is poorly made. I really had very little fun mainly because of the bland, uninspired level design. The floaty jumps also make this Sonic game very frustrating in many parts as mentioned in the other person's review.
Summary: While I certaintly DON'T think this game deserves a blatant score of 1. I DO think the average user score should be more accurate. As this game suffers from many problems, and is one of the least good games for the 3DS. Here is why.
Summary: This game was disappointing to me. I am a big old school Sonic fan, but I hate the new ones and this one is included. I thought it would be more like Sonic 4 Episode1, but it does not even have graphics good as an arcade game. The old sonic part of the game is so far off! To spin dash you hold X and don/t have to hold in down!? Old school sonic looks nothing like he did back in the days. The new sonic is pointles it seems as if you don't have contol of him.
Summary: Bon jeu mais necessite d'ouvrir un compte STEAM ce qui n'est pas clairement indiqué sur la boiteA fuir pour ceux qui commle moi ne sont pas d'accord avec ce procédé, qui rends le jeu invendable !
