Summary: I got this game so I could go online & play with my brother. I have had a blast playing with people online if the game has any drawbacks its that there is a bridge for people to cross instead of making people stay on their side and play as a sniper & there is some clitch that some players use to cheat. but its still worth the $40 I spent.
Summary: I don't get why everyone says that SGW are bad games, I think it's for people that like real life gaming. I've played the 1st and 2nd SGW's, I will say that the first one was not that good but, the second one was 10x better then the first one. If you where to get a SGW, get the second one.
Summary: I played the first Sniper: Ghost Warrior and I thought it was pretty good, but this one is even better in my opinion. The graphics are pretty good, the maps are awesome, and the story is pretty intriguing. Although the game is very linear, there are some parts in the campaign where you do have total freedom to choose how you want to accomplish a mission.
Summary: I'm a big fan of games that require you to sneak around and sniping games. This is by far my favorite sniping game. I hated part one to this game and almost did not et this one but I am very happy i decided to give it a shot.
Summary: I'm going to go ahead and get this out of the way, if you don't thoroughly enjoy sniping in games, your probably not going to love this title. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 touts some serious improvements over the first game. The AI are no longer all seeing eagle eye master marksmen like certain frustrating segments in SGW1. They behave much more consistently, while still giving plenty of challenge. The level design is all around more enjoyable.
Summary: this game is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. If you play the game on expert, it adds a lot more challenge. Playing on expert removes the secondary crosshair that shows where your bullet will hit, and makes the AI notice where you are and where shots come from much quicker. This means that you have to make your shots count. However, it also takes away certain markers on your mini map that show enemy positions for some missions.
Summary: Color me surprised. Who knew a game called "Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2" would be any good? SGW2 surprised me in more than one way though, and thoroughly entertained me from start to finish. Right from the get go, you'll notice that the game doesn't look as good as a Cry Engine 3 game should. It is by no means ugly, but clearly they didn't have the resources to take advantage of this powerhouse engine.
