Solid, fluid, fun

Materialist Formalist "E pur si muove.", Amazon
17 June 2014
  • Summary: Many have remarked that this is not a really ground breaking game. It's not, but the game has great atmosphere, an interesting story and solid and fluid game play. That said, it does have some elements that do distinguish it from other games (no spoilers). I turned right around and played it through again. It also ended up being surprisingly rather thought provoking because of it's time travel plot line.

Good Game

Russell Holt, Amazon
23 March 2014
  • Summary: I had never heard of Singularity. I am on deployment with some down time and found this one and bought it on customer reviews alone. I would say that it starts a little slow but gets better. It makes you think a little, the story is cool. If you like post apocaliptic first person-type games you will probably like this one. I would say that it plays kind of like Quake 2, if you have ever played it. The graphics are ok, but the layout is huge, and viserally stimulating.

Fun

Bastet "Meow", Amazon
15 January 2014
  • Summary: It has easy controls and movement. I'm the type of person that I get myself in a corner in "Halo" and can't back out of it. Not very coordinated, but I was able to play this game without trouble. The graphics are really nice.

How did I not hear about this game?

ZM, Amazon
13 May 2013
  • Summary: Its been a while since I beat this game (1 year about), so forgive the lack of detail! I forget exactly how I found out about this game, none of my friends had heard of it and I certainly hadn't. I think I googled underrated games, or games like BioShock. Either way, something led me to this game and I'm glad it did! This game is similar to BioShock, from the horror aspect, to the navigation and feel.

I like it so far!

My name, Amazon
9 May 2013
  • Summary: Before I begin, I'll say that the game was shipped and delivered on time so great job, Amazon. It was in great condition. For the game though, I honestly never heard of this game until I discovered it here on Amazon. I like the story so far. I haven't finished it yet so I'm not sure completely. It's linear though. You don't really travel off the path much which is kind of lame but hey you collect things. I have to say though those blue monsters are annoying.

Singularity

honestandtrue "honestandtrue", Amazon
23 April 2013
  • Summary: While playing you continuously have to switch between using the singularity device or weapons. It would make game play more enjoyable if you could use both at the same time instead of selecting which one to use. I have played several levels of the game to know this. Looking forward to completion of the game just not all the switching around. I find the story lines (projectors/tapes) at times entertaining but it kinda takes a little bit longer than it should.

A sleeper that's well worth the reduced price

Mat, Amazon
8 January 2013
  • Summary: I beat Singularity last night, and I have to say this was a great sleeper title. You could complain that it's an awful lot like Bioshock, but I thought it handled differently enough to be unique and the story was intriguing enough to keep you hungry for the next bite. It was a bit easy as survival horror FPSs go.
