Good if you don't have a PS2

Summary: I got this game due to the fact that my ps2 broke. All I have is a 360 for recent consoles. I got into the craving to play silent hill2. So I got this game. I'm very pleased that I did. Love it and with the addition of silent hill3 I got a good deal.
Summary: I understand that there are some technical aspects that hardcore gamers may find unsettling with this collection. To untrained eyes and ears, I really don’t see many issues with the 7th generation transfer. However, I am highly bummed that “Silent Hill” is not included. I kind of look the original “Silent Hill” games as a trilogy.
Summary: This game was a very enjoyable experience for the most part. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because like others, I experienced a few glitches, but unlike others, never enough to significantly affect the gameplay - usually just the sound getting distorted in the presence of multiple monsters. I have an Xbox 360 Slim I just got 3 months ago and my theory is that the glitches are worst for those with older models / consoles.
Good game to get to relive your glory days on the old ps2

Summary: This game is just as it states, the collection of silent hill 2+3. Not much was done to fix bugs in the games but there was a graphical rework, and new voice overs to bring new life to the game. Overall enjoyed replaying these and having them on such a convenient media.
Summary: I got the 360 HD collection of 2 and 3 of this and it came in the mail yesterday and needless to say I am about 45 to and hour into silent hill 2 and am really enjoying it, minor bugs but nothing to ruin gameplay or get mad about. I havent gotten to three yet but apparently that is where the main issues are. I also heard not to get this for ps3 it is terrible bug wise. But yes 4 stars I recommend definitely getting it if you want to play 2.
Summary: I've had the HD collection for a good few months now, and I've never once ran into a bug. The sound can be a little weird in a few cases (firing the unlimited sub-machine gun) but that's hardly game breaking. The bugs aren't nearly as prevalent as people seem to claim.
Summary: This game receives a lot of hate due to technical glitches, small bits of lag, and new voices. The voices were FINE. The glitches didnt impact the game, just when you get achievements it stops for a sec then continues. The fog being removed was something i could bare with. If you never had access to Silent Hill and don't mind the common quirks to a video game back then, this is a good starting point.
Summary: The first Silent Hill game I played was Silent Hill 4: The Room. I didn't get far and the game received mixed reviews so I don't regret not finishing it. The first Silent Hill game I completed was Silent Hill: Homecoming, which I loved and played many times. So when I heard that this collection was coming, I was very excited and eager to pick it up. As you may know, there are two separate games included in here, Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3.
Summary: I bought this because it includes both of my favorite Silent Hill games, so I knew in advanced that I'd adore this purchase. My only problem is the amount of visual errors that seem to be a constant and the lack of a software patch to correct the issues. None of the issues will stop me from playing and replaying either game, but I am disappointed in the lack of care towards Microsoft product users that Konami seems to be showing. Add.
Summary: I didn't have any of the bugs or glitches that other people seemed to have had. That being said, I had different opinions of 2 and 3. I starting playing 2 after playing Homecoming (the first SH game I've ever played). I was annoyed with Silent Hill 2 at first because the controls were so different from Homecoming and it took some time to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, I liked it well enough.
