Close but as usual the Konami franchise Silent Hill disappoints again.

Summary: I bought Silent Hill Downpour because it has been out for a year and I want a game that was going to be scary and hopefully patched to work smoothly. The game delivers in old school horror scares. I would say it tops similar games such as Resident Evil 6 in the scare department. The environment I am okay with; rather than fog instead its rain and night-time that you never really get GREAT visibility.
Summary: If you like resident evil 4 game play then you will like this game. The action scenes are very intense and terrifying so not for the faint of heart. I found this game both exciting and challenging. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a challenging survival horror game.
Summary: It is a good game but the scare factor and the feel of the other Silent Hill Games is just not there. I will keep the game but would tell others that it is different than the other games. If you love Silent Hill you may like it pretty well but all the other versions of Silent Hill games are much better in feel and scare.
Summary: When fighting enemies the game glitches and frame chop like crazy. My first enemy was that girl in the house and I could not kill her because the battle control was messed up I was hitting every thing except the girl (to the help of the choppy frame) then when i finally hit her the stupid thing broke on her skull so I had to run away. While doing that the game started glitching like it was trying to load and play at the same time.
