Summary: Its alright, not good and not bad. The problems with this game is that it lags like 5 seconds or so in every single checkpoint and certain areas it lags then new sprites pop like magic. The fighting part sucks also.
Summary: I love playing the silent hill and this one I cvouldnt really get into. I plsyed it and it just seem to easy and I eventually got tired of it and quit playing it. it seems ok but lost my interest
Summary: After reading so many negative reviews of this game I did not expect much at all. So I was very surprised that the game was actually really fun to play overall and quite creepy. I do agree however that this game has many problems such as (1) ridiculous frame rate lag (2)scare-less monsters that are...
Summary: I agree with another reviewers comment, "God dammit Silent Hill, either come out with a completely horrible game or a really stellar game". I'm not a fan of the Silent Hill games. Their stories have been disconnected, and random. The game play has been simple and repetitive.
Summary: Creepy, twisted game but not as much fun as SH Homecoming IMO. Game looks and plays great but focuses too much on side quest. Needed more enemy variety. About four, maybe five, enemies repeated over and over. Final boss was very cool and fun to fight.
Summary: Silent Hill Downpour is a game that is really hard to review. Thank god there are separate ratings for "fun" and "overall". The content of the game itself is great. For the most part. Silent Hill looks fantastic and sounds even better. As far as the atmosphere goes it does a lot of things right.
Downpour really knew how to rain on the Silent Hill parade

Summary: I strongly disagree with the Game Informer review. It was far too lenient. Yes, I loved the Silent Hill franchise- especially the first three- but I say this strictly in regards to it as a stand-alone game: It needed work. The graphics were barely decent. In every way, they felt dull and uninspired.
