Summary: i have never played a game like this before on a console. its very slow and you slowly piece together the clues and evidence and find out who jack the ripper is. the investigation was fantastic! i loved this game and will be buying more of this series.
Summary: This game is not for those who just want to smash things. It is, like Sherlock Holmes, a game of deductions and investigations. It's true, Sherlock Holmes does not magically morph into an action hero, and cars are not transported to 1880s London for your pleasure, nor are there out-and-out gunfights, but yet this game fails to disappoint all the same. An intricately created world with a rich set of characters. If you don't like the genre, don't buy the game!
Summary: I was playing this game and happy as a pig in pooh. All of a sudden, for some unknown and stupid reason, the producers of this game had to throw in a difficult eye-hand coordination "challenge." If I were playing it on PC, I could probably do it. On the Xbox it is so difficult I may not be able to finish the game. The puzzle? There is a "magnetic" box. You have to simultaneously move two objects through a narrow field without touching the wall or obstacles.
Summary: I Saw This Game At Family Video And Thought Id Try It Out. I Must Say That This Game Just Plain Sucks. I Could've Made A Better One. It Looks Like The Creators Spent Zero Time Makin It. Graphics Are Horrible, Controls Are Horrible, Characters Are Horrible And The Rating? Honestly If Someone Made A Game Bout Jack The Ripper It Certaintly Wouldn't Be Rated Teen. It'd Be Mature And I'm Sure Very Gruesome.
Summary: It's often hard to know what to make of the reviews of games like this. There are people who hate anything that isn't an action shooter so reading the reviews is like solving a mystery, are the bad reviews from people who hate the game because it's bad or are they people who would hate any point and click puzzle solver, i.e. they hate the genre?
