Serious Sam Double D XXL

Summary: Seriously silly The Serious Sam franchise is known for being insane, over-the-top, funny, and an overall satisfying experience. Though each game in the core series is a first-person shooter, developer Mommy's Best Games has taken the franchise in a different direction, turning it into a platformer...
Review: Serious Sam Double D XXL (Microsoft Xbox 360)

Excerpt: I honestly don’t know how to start this review. I’m not sure how to capture in words just how ridiculous Serious Sam Double D XXL is, and as someone who considers themselves a writer (there’s an ad for my book on the right of this page, cheap plug!) then that’s admitting a pretty big failure.

Excerpt: Revamping an indie spinoff first released for PC in 2011, Serious Sam Double D XXL yanks Sam out of his traditional first-person surroundings and drops him into a side-scrolling shoot-’em-up filled with huge foes and confusingly thick hordes of headless kamikaze idiots.
Pros: + Mowing down charging hordes with stacked guns can be immensely fun., + Stages are surprisingly huge, with plenty of hidden paths and items.
