"Section 8", like 'Shadowrun', promises a lot, but ultimately fails a little thanks to some poor design choices. There’s a huge number of customisation options- but no real incentive to do so. Read more

Overall, Section 8 is a good game, even if it has some bad parts, like the need of a dedicated server for more than 16 players, the poor control of vehicles, and its lack of variety in maps. Read more
- Awesome respawning and futuristic gameplay and the X Server
- Single player could probably have just been left out to make it a cheaper game.

Anyone who reads this site knows that I'm generally not big on online multiplayer games, unless they're of the 2P co-op variety. Those, I live for. The standard sort of "one army versus another army" stuff, not so much. Read more
