Summary: Was after a motorbike racing game for my son. This one was recommended and in fairness is pretty good albeit a little hard to get used to the controls. Unfortunately I can't say more about it as I've hardly played it and now he's Fifa mad so I can't get near the xbox and that's just about all he plays!!
Summary: I love Motorcycles, and if you do too, then SBK X: Superbike World Championship: Special Edition is the perfect game for you. It is a game with endless possibilities, and the graphics are the best! being a special edition makes this game even better, and a definite buy!
Conclusion: Absolutely stunning game. Makes the new Moto Gp game look like a joke. Changes you make with the mechanic actually make a difference to the handling. Its fantatstic. The graphics are super smooth and the detail on bikes riders and kit is amazing. I cant stop playing this and am really enojying career mode. one of the best games I have played and certainly the best racing game I have played. The opposition actually make mistakes and dont just ride round on rails.
Conclusion: very very good game!! i downloaded the demo and i woz hooked straight away, there are a few problems tho when the bike is in auto drive it dont give u a count down for wen the auto drive stops for eg. 3.2.1. because it can turn off right on a corner and you dont know when is gunna happen and you go off the course which is very annoying.
Conclusion: SBK10 is probably the most realistic motorcycle game on the market, and is noticeably improved over SBK09. To begin with you'll find yourself braking far too late, but once used to the dynamics you can revel in the satisfaction of nailing that perfect corner and mastering 'slow in, fast out'.
Summary: I personally love this game. Its a classic example of what talented people can do on a real budget and without a massive commercial backing. Its no hollywood blockbuster but it ticks all the right boxes for its target audience. In that way I cant fail to give it any less than 4 stars but do hope future titles will show some 'spit and polish.' At its core, SBK X is a no-thrills simulator of fast bikes whipping around race tracks.
