Summary: This game is good! It's fun and super hard to play. You have definitely got to plan out your attack every time you play or spend several hours playing stages over just to see through a stage. You level up characters and earn horses, weapons, new moves.. . . the game is fun. Worth the buy if you also want to play with someone to do some serious bonding or teamwork skills.
Summary: If you are a fan of the dynasty warriors games you will like this. The whole game is just murdering tons of dudes, some of the most fun i've had. they also did a great job in making a simple style of game challenging. The graphics are bad by current standards but the game is totally worth it. Also, ninjas a pretty cool. Don't look, but there is one hiding behind you right now...
Summary: Fun game for casual gamers, like myself and advanced gamers like my brother. The characters don't have much personalizing that can be done, but that's not really where the fun is. The fun, dare I say, is on the battlefeild. With many different difficulties and ways to play this is a game that's hard to get tired of.
Samurai Warriors 2 - Repetitive, fun, and addicting.
2 July 2009
Summary: Samurai Warriors is made by the same people who make Dynasty Warriors. However, the Samurai series takes place in Japan instead of China. Here are some pros and cons about this game: Pros: +Over 25 different characters to level up and develop. +Over 20 or so stages for you to battle on, all with different atmospheres, etc. +Bonus mini game which plays like Monopoly, known as Sugoroku, helps give players an opportunity to take a break from the monotonous hack-&-slash.
Summary: First off, this game is a basic hack n' slash game which takes Samurai Warriors 2 and lets you play in an environment where it is necessary to use a bit of strategy. The game itself is relatively fun and if you have enjoyed past enstallments of Samurai Warriors, or have tried the Empires spin on the Dynasty Warriors series, it's very similar only with different characters.
Summary: Great game, expands upon the first Samurai warriors. Overall this game is a great game and can offer lots of fun. One thing I think was missing though was a possible updated version of character creation, which I think could have made the game a bit more fun. Lots of new unlockable characters as well, so if you're into the ole Hack and Slash games, this one is definitely worth a buy.
Summary: When I got my hands on the first installment of Samurai Warriors, I thought it was a lot of fun. When I got this one, I was shocked to see how much they had improved on the original. The combat system is much more fluid and intuitive. The in-game store allows players to spend money earned in missions to customize the characters to better match the player's own style.
