Summary: If you enjoy the Saints Row franchise, you will enjoy this game. However I was disappointed to find out that the game DOES NOT INCULDE ALL THE DLC for the game. It includes a lot, but not all. The game was also a little disappointing because the farther you progress in the game, the easier it gets. You get to continually upgrade your character, until they are invincible with unlimited ammo. This essentially takes all the challenge out of the game.
Summary: Saints Row the Third has been out for a while so I won't speak to the game itself. It has been reviewed over and over and I won't do any service by doing it again here. The package itself comes with all the DLC which sounds like a great value, but there's a catch. The game doesn't always register all the DLC in game. I bought this game to play with my brother because we loves playing CO-Op on Saints 2. We installed the DLC disc and started the game as normal.
Summary: Saints Row: The Third strips down many of the fun diversions, customization, and weapons from SR2. Combined with a sub par story and a wealth of DLC content (including an online pass) and its clear that Saints Row:The Third is a downgrade in many ways from SR2. With that said SR3 is still fun it's just not SR2 and if you haven't played SR2 you are missing out on the better game.
Summary: I gave Saints Row 3 two stars b/c the storyline is too short and easy, some of the things you could do in sr2 you cant in sr3 such as buy cribs. There were way more weapons in sr2 and most of the clothes were better in sr2. The create a character menue in sr2 was better, had more options, it was easier to make the face you wanted and there were wayyy better voice options. However sr3 had impressive graphics and is action packed.
Summary: This game is okay nothing special I'll make this short and sweet, comparison with saints row 2, although overall Saints row 3 is more fun as driving, shooting and everything is better than saints row 2 except many key factors why I still love saints row 2 way more than 3. Why I still prefer Saints row 2 or why saints row 2 is still better in my expert opinion: 1: You had way more choice in clothes and colors overall where better than in saints row third an example white...
Summary: Ok, first off this was originally a post to the official Saints Row website. Don't get me wrong, I love the Saints Row franchise, but SR:TT left out the little details that made previous Saints Rows games EPIC. I will state 11 reasons I feel 'personally' about what Volition messed up on. Now remember, this is my opinion and don't flame my review with 8 year old comments. Let's keep this post professional please. Let's start. Reason number one.
