Summary: This is a pretty good game for its time. I played the first Saints Row when it first came out, then skipped this one and went on to Saints Row III and IV. Saints Row 2 is definitely much, much closer to the first one than the later iterations, so keep that in mind if you've played the more recent...
Like GTA3 but funnier. Also look for the SR 1/2 combo pack.

Summary: Rated M for a reason! Violence, drugs/alcohol, lots of swearing, prostitution, car theft, liquor store robberies, murder, and total carnage. NOT FOR KIDS. This game is a rip-off of Grand Theft Auto 3 or maybe San Andreas.
Summary: too cheesy now, and i bought it just because i thought it'd have 2 player split screen it says it is co-op.. but that is a lie, you cant play split screen you can only play online with other people by yourself.. its dumb man im tryna share the fun not keep it to myself.
Summary: This game, while I expected it to be violent by nature is WAY over the top. The opening scene has you murdering a prison doctor who has been treating you for injuries you sustained. There is no alternative, the objective to complete the scene is kill the doctor.
Summary: I have played the entire Saints Row series and this one balances seriousness vs silliness the best. GTA with a sense of humor. Its the only game that lets me be a gang boss that is also a british ninja.
