"Sacred 2: Fallen Angel" is a really fantastic game. If you love l00t, then you’ll feel right at home. Even if you’ve never played Diablo before or one of it’s many clones, sacred is as good a place as any to start, especially on a console. Read more

This game is not for everyone, as the review score suggests. Many people will have no interest in this game. Other people will be unable to function in their daily life without their Sacred 2 fix. Figure out which kind of person are before you buy the game. Read more

    • Replay rating should be over 9000. You may play even when you don't want to play anymore.
    • Not everyone can enjoy this type of game. Plus, the in-game music is poor and the game can be buggy.

At one time, Diablo was the game of choice when it came to looting RPG style games. Then along came World of Warcraft which has been a staple of the PC gaming world for quite some time now. We have been waiting for a Diablo or World of Warcraft clone to come along on the consoles, and it seems that we are one step closer to that moment with Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. Read more

The sound in Dead Rising 2 is very similar to the first game. Each weapon features two or three different sound effects. The background music ranges from smooth jazz melodies and elevator music in the mall/courtyard-like sections to guitar laden rock tracks when you battle the psychopaths. As with the detailing on weapons and the different types of missions – variations within the selection of sound and music are a bit of a problem. Read more

Sacred 2 is the second instalment in the series which is third person and uses a isometric top down approach similar to the Diablo series. Set in the magical world of Ancaria where a mystical substance known as T-Energy is the source of all life and magic. It was solely controlled by the Seraphim until they grew bored and passed it to the favoured High Elves. Now a civil war is being waged with all the races wishing to harness it to become the most dominant. Read more

You pick a character class from six archetypes and commence mass extermination of enemies. You gain levels and find better gear so you can kill stronger monsters, so you can level up and find better gear, so you can…yeah, you know the drill. Read more

    • Great interface, absolutely gigantic game world, co-op campaign play, cool skill system, tons of loot
    • Storyline is ho-hum, some of the side quest missions are downright silly, some frustrating bugs, and a few more classes would have been nice, weak companion AI

Playing Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is both a pleasure and a pain. It's pleasurable because the game is fun, big, and addictive, and painful because it has its own share of flaws, some worse than others. Much like the original Sacred or Titan Quest, Sacred 2 is a game that operates partially in Diablo II's shadow, and partly in the shadow of all of the action RPG's since Blizzard's classic. It's hard doing a proper review for Sacred 2. The map is HUGE and with 600 missions and 6 classes there's a lot to be uncovered. Be that as it may, there's a certain rhythm and pattern prevalent throughout. At its' heart Sacred 2 is a hack n slash loot collector's wet dream come true! There are those rpgs that try to wow you with a sweeping epic story and highly polished graphical eye candy orgasms. Sadly, if you're expecting that with Sacred 2 you maybe let down a bit. Read more

Sacred 2 is a great action-item-RPG for those that love hack and slash, solve simple quests, and create multiple characters based upon skill creation and combos. There is no shortness of action; everywhere you go there are hordes of enemies. Sometimes you wonder if anyone is your friend as your hacking or slashing or destroying everything around you with magical spells. Read more

A wise person once said, "people began caring more about the graphics and less about the actual gameplay". He couldn't have been more right. Although he was talking about the 8-bit vs. 16-bit vs. x-bit era, the same principle still applies today. People don't care about gameplay, they care about stuff like facial expressions, how real the crowd looks like, do they have all the player rosters up to date and stuff like that. Nobody cares how these games play. Read more

T Energy has been flowing through Ancaria since time itself. This mysterious power forms the beginning of all life, is the source of all magic and the origin of all thought. For an era, it was the angelic Seraphim who watched over the T Energy and therefore over the fate of the entire world.
