Summary: I love ping pong or any type of table tennis, tried it out before and decided to get it since it looks intresting. Ebay was the only place that I could find it the darn game, everywhere I looked they told me it was discontionued.
Conclusion: Rockstar Table Tennis, is an ok game, what lets it down is it’s almost impossible tournament mode and the fact its a game that takes a lot of time and patience to really enjoy it. The best aspect of this game is its online multiplayer mode where it becomes a fun game rather than frustrating. An ok game, just really difficult when its single player mode gets going.
Conclusion: Great looking game, with some great gameplay dynamics, let down a little by the simplicity of the game itself, also,i got this game on the day of release, and how the hell did everyone online get so damned good so quickly.......
Summary: For the price it's great. The details put into the characters are excellent but it's let down by some bad controls. As a "pick up and play" game it's great, but it quickly becomes frustrating in one player mode. Stricly for after the pub with mates.
Conclusion: This is well worth parting with a few coins, very playable and enjoyable game for those that either love table-tennis or find normal tennis a bit slow. The controls are easy to use and can be mastered after a few games, and you are soon bending spin shots all over the table. Its very enjoyable playing un-returnable smash shots, playing spin-shots off the table and the occasional drop shot that completely confuses your opponent.
Summary: The game is enjoyable on the easy and medium difficulty modes, im fact i flew through them in an hour, then when you get to hard i was winning the first game say 11 - 2 then the computer would make all my shots come off the table, or not get to the return in time, making my shots loop, which hadnt happened at all in the previous game, and i would loose say 11- 4 then the next game would be even worse would loose 11 - 1 and loose the game.
Summary: I like the idea of this game. using all the power available to the developers to do one simple thing, focusing on getting one type of game as close to perfect as possible. I also loved the price; releasing a xbox 360 game that was cheaper than standard games (most of which had been £49.99 up until that point) was a lovelly way of interesting alot of players. This is also coming from one of the best companys around at this time, in my opinion.
