Summary: This review applies to the original Rocksmith but since it uses the same cable as the 2014 version it is valid. My son and I rocked out to the game two times and had a blast, but haven't been able to play since as the game won't recognize the guitar. We have tried a Les Paul and a Fender Strat and neither work. All my inquires to Ubisoft have gone unanswered. Anyone else have problems with the cable?
Amazing game with amazing graphics, some problems.

Summary: Excellent game, better than i was looking for in the learning tool, but one thing that was quite annoying was the amount of times the game has frozen on me, and to where it deleted/corrupted my save.
Summary: But the interface/UX is terrible: Options are burred and hidden and things are poorly explained in the game. For example, try to set up multiple players, each guitar needs your own controller, need to log in and then you play. Sounds simple but setting it up is a nightmare. When you finish a song you have options to the right that you can't see: Play again, continue journey... but there are options also to the left! Why not have all the options visible?
Summary: This game annoys me sometimes i will play the right note and it will say i'm doing it wrong when i'm not. I also bought a song for this game and i played like 5 notes throughout the whole song..... Whenver it teaches me new chords i forget them usually but other than that it helps you with learning where the notes are on the guitar.
Its great for serious guitar player but not for kids just learning.

Summary: It wasn't the right product for my kids that are learning guitar. They liked the learning part of the game but they would have also liked to been able to play all the songs freestyle. Its probably great for the serious guitar player.
Summary: As my title states, this game isn't for advanced players. I would imagine intermediate players would get enjoyment out of the game but may not learn much. So why isn't it for advanced plyers? For starters, the jump from beginner to intermediate to advanced level of play is too steep and too quick. Secondly, even after altering the settings to match what I'd like to see and to get the tempo correct for the audio delay in my stereo setup, things are still off.
Summary: I just want to say its a nice game that everybody can learn from. Its sait that I did not recieve a PAL ore REGION FREE version of it. Because , here in Belgium we play PAL versions not NTSC versions . Lucky that I have twoo Xbox360 consoles , one for PAL and the other for NTSC. For the rest I like the game more and more, it works perfect wit a original Guitar , my guitar is a PRS Cantanese , thanks !
