Frequency, released in 2001, by developer Harmonix was one of those innovative games that set the Playstation 2 apart from the rest. It featured frenetic rhythm-based gameplay and put the small developer on the map. The critically acclaimed title may not have been a big commercial success but it gave Harmonix presence in a unique niche that would soon grow into a major lynchpin of the video game industry. Since that first release in 2001, the Cambridge based firm has... Read more
Rock Band 2 is essentially a much better, more polished Rock Band with an amazing new set list and better instruments. The songs alone would probably be worth the price of entry and if you're up for new instruments, this is a great way to do that as well. But with the exception of one important online gameplay addition, don't really expect a different experience. I'm still loving Rock Band 2. I play it daily, my son plays it daily, even my wife has expressed interest in... Read more
Overall - 9.5/10 This game is by far one of the best games around if you want to kick back and relax. You don't have to worry about sneaking around corners to shoot someone in the back, and you don't have to figure out special puzzles to get anywhere. All you have to do, is pick up a guitar, a microphone, or a set of stick, and start rocking your heart out. Read more

If you like singing out tunes and playing with friends, then you have to own this game. Even my girlfriend, that doesn't like video games at all, is now hooked on this game. Read more
Rock Band 2 is a high-quality, expensive upgrade to the original game. While not enough has changed to confuse a seasoned player, the upgrades are very worthwhile and the new songs alone are worth the price. Read more
