Summary: I think this is my favourite JRPG ever. Probably the best thing I ever bought for my PS3 as well, Tri-Ace and Motoi Sakuraba again and more than a handful of design elements carried over from Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria (another excellent title), Japanese audio, amazing combat system, OTT characters and a huuuge learning curve, legitimately challenging without being cheap and once mastered, the game is a pleasure to play from beginning to end.
Summary: Resonance of fate is one of those love it or hate it games. It offers a really unique battle system that is hard to master and can be really punishing at times but is at the same time one of the most exciting and innovative battle systems in an RPG to date. If you are looking for a game with a great story, you won't find one here. The story is serviceable at best. The main draw to me was the battle system. Its flashy and stylish and as mentioned deep and hard to master.

Summary: Resonance of Fate is yet another JRPG from famed JRPG makers Tri-Ace. Unlike the fairly typical Star Ocean, Resonance of Fate is a pretty inventive take on a genre not really known for taking chances. The story and steam-punk setting are decent, but have been done before. The combat however is where the game truly shines. It is the perfect mix of challenge, depth, strategy and action.
Summary: Tri-Ace after number of outings in this generation brings somewhat their most polished RPG game yet. Although the game's story doesn't take center focus, it is a compelling one. Gameplay is quite a deviation from standard. Big overworld maps have been replaced with game board like hex based map where random encounters give you different hex "pieces" to expand where you can travel to.
Summary: Resonance of Fate is rather unique take on jRPGs. Combat has really complex mechanisms that aren't very intuitive and pushes you to learn them on your own and finding ways to increase your damage output feels really rewarding. And although the combat may sometihmes seem a bit repetetive, you don't really have to grind if you take care of all the sidequests.
Summary: Let me get started. The game itself is gorgeous. It's details are in-depth and the costumes are all rendered remarkably. The story. The story is weak. Very weak. However it adds a touch of humor to the game that's needed. The gameplay. All I can say is..... Flawless. If you play through the tutorial and do the arena and learn, it's awesome. It's confusing to start with but when it's out into motion, you feel like a demon for completing tasks.
Summary: I tried really hard to enjoy this game, but this game is just boring. The battle system was a challenge at first, but after you get the hang of it, you are just running and charging attacks. You do not even need to do the tri attack anymore in the later chapters when you have high level machine guns. For some reason, I cannot get myself to enjoy the story too. I really tried to enjoy, but now I do not think I can finish the game. JRPG hardcore should go ahead.
