Summary: I played this game a few months ago and really enjoyed it. It stuck with me. The story line is really interesting. I am not a great gamer by any means and I definitely run into some points where I'd have to start again but they were not excessive. It definitely requires you to think for a lot of the game. The "remix" parts of the game are really cool - probably my favourite part of the game overall.
Summary: Good story, reasonably interesting characters, unique fighting/combo system, intriguing concept regrading memories and how they play out in the game, and a fantastic sci fi environment to work your way through. Sort of reminds me of blade runner meets I robot. Very refreshing to play a game like this, I definitely would like to see more like it.
Summary: This game has to be in my top ten list due to the story alone. The storyline uses some aspects from other games, but it is overall unique. You start out with the main character, Nilin, having her memories wiped and end up heading a revolution. Nilin goes through challenges and internal conflicts as the story passes. The sounds for this game are great, although there is nothing really amazing about them. They are just realistic. The game uses the Unreal Engine.
Summary: I saw the previews for this one and the trailer initially caught my eye. I wanted to get the game, but then I saw all of the mediocre reviews for it. I saw it on sale and grabbed it for $20 and popped it in... Played the game for like 3hrs straight... and I'm not a person who has a lot of time on my hands. This game is great. I don't even know what all the complaints are about. Its difficult to find a game to compare it to because it is such a unique concept.
Summary: This game, set in a future Paris where memories can be stored or wiped out based on a consumer's whim, is a beautiful, intricate story featuring a complex female protagonist. Nalim is a Memory Hunter, and she wakes up at the beginning with her own memory completely wiped. You spend the game putting the pieces together and fighting the massive class-based injustice that runs rampant in this dystopia.
