Summary: Very fun and entertaining game as far as third person shooters go. Story is nothing to write home about but it doesn't matter because this is an action packed title. You're looking at least an 8 hour campaign. Online co-op modes are dead now so unless you have friends to play with, don't expect to find any avid players online. There are upgrades for your weapons, 100% total destruction of the field. You see that wall over there?
Summary: If - like me - you really liked the gameplay of Red Faction: Guerilla but quickly became bored with the game's repetitiveness, then you will probably like Armageddon a lot more. This game is more of a tradtional story-based type, doing away with the open-world sandbox style gameplay from the previous game.
Summary: Slightly disappointed that after guerrilla they didn't make another open world game. This game is great with excellent story writing but without the open world aspect it wasn't the 5/5 star game i was hoping for.
Summary: The game is fun, and while the storyline isn't as good as the original, it is much better than the second red faction game. Game-play, however, is a little too easy. I spent most of the game either meleeing monsters or using the magnet gun to kill things. This particular gun it is incredibly fun to use, especially when you start flinging chunks of scenery at them. The other weapons are just so-so however, and not extremely inventive.
Summary: Basic alien shooting game. Story is basic, aliens take over and you are killing them. So loosely tied to the other red factions it should not be even considered part of them. This was fun because it allows you to destroy the entire environment then rebuild it.
