A lot to be desired

Summary: While the Kinect device is pretty ingenious, it's application in some of these games leaves a lot to be desired. If you liked the video game of Rabbids, this is not like that at all. It draws on the whole Kinect principle (as you would expect) but then the actual mini-games you play get extremely tedious after just a few minutes. The charm of the other video games gets muddled in this hands-on version.
Summary: First play, it was funny and fun to play. After about an hour, we got sick of it. Some of the games were boring while others did not have good instructions so the players were confused as to what is required to pass the stage. Overall, I think maybe 5 to 8 of the mini games were fun out of the entire list. We played once and don't think it'll ever make out of the box again.
Summary: This game may be a cheap thrill to get the kids, but it just doesn't cut it for anyone else. The mini games are lacking and the forced, exaggerated motions that the player has to make to get the game to respond make things tiresome quickly. I was excited to see the rabbids in action; however, I quickly grew bored. I understand that they are forcing Kinect at people, but this feels like a wasted opportunity, through and through.
Summary: I have my Kinect set up in a room with a projector - in other words, very little if any ambient light. Played in that setting, it doesn't really work. It was an expensive game and I didn't mind paying for it because I expected it to be the star of my Kinect games with my nieces and nephews. It wasn't - I think we tried to play a few different games for about 10 minutes and then it was time to try something else.
Summary: I enjoy this game, but we thought it would be more fun for parties. When it came time to get a group playing we found it very slow paced. Just way too many time sinks: i.e. the games last like 1 minute then you have 4-5 minutes of set up, loading, photos, etc. Also, at our last party several people forfeited their match by accidentally moving their hand at the wrong time... which really messed things up and is IMHO a very poor design.
Summary: Eh, personally, as someone who plays video games constantly, I found this game to be gimmicky at best. I think I could imagine having two friends over and playing with my girlfriend for a few of the mini games but forgetting the rest. Some other reviewer mentioned children would like the game... there is a reason for that... As a gamer I'm kind of insulted by ubisoft (although what can I expect given their history of game production) releasing this as-is.
Summary: I expected to have more ability to beat on little Rabbids. There are too many side games, activities that just are not fun. In the party mode, you have to do certain timed tasks (solve puzzles, etc) that just defeat the purpose of this being a Kinect game. I'm disappointed. Wanted to see more action.
