Summary: I loved playing shoot-em-ups(shmups) in the arcades during the 90's. And one of my favorite 'shmups' titles is from the Raiden series of shooters. When I found out that a collection was being released for the Xbox 360, I couldn't wait to try it. Raiden Fighters Aces is a three game collection with pixel-perfect reproductions of all the huge explosions and big bosses that is so emblematic of these 2D beast.
Summary: Chances are, if you visited arcades or played consoles in the 90s, you saw Raiden. The series has been around for a long time and has seen releases on consoles since the 16-bit days. The Raiden Fighters series, however, has never seen a home release before now. So even if you're intimate with the Raiden series you may have never seen these games before. This package was also my first experience with the Fighters series, and I was absolutely floored with how good it is.
Summary: The Raiden Fighters Aces games are some of the finest arcade shooters in existence. This collection is incredibly polished and has many options to allow the player to customize the experience to their liking. If you're a fan of Raiden or arcade shooters in general, this collection is an absolute no-brainer. You won't find a better deal for a measly $20 or less.
Excellent Arcade Experience Wrapped In A Perfect Package

Summary: Raiden Fighters Aces is possibly the sole beacon of hope in this day and age for fans of true arcade games. It's no secret that arcades are dead in America, and those of us who wish it wasn't so are often left hanging out to dry. Besides a few sparse XBLA ports or hollow indie cash-ins, the gaming industry has seen fit to let the genre proper wither and die, but RFA stands proud and shows that there is at least one publisher left that hasn't completely abandoned the...
Summary: A great bargain and lots of fun. Easy to get used to and the replay value is high. My son and I love playing this game. Straight forward in gameplay, shoot the baddies and avoid being shot down! As simple as it sounds, it is still very challenging when you have to keep an eye on the enemy fire as you try and shoot them down. A great game at a great price.
Summary: I cannot stop playing. This is for people who used to play the games in the arcades when you were little. Not for kids these days. It just brings back those great memories, taking quarters from your mom's purse to play again and again.
Summary: I have to say that Raiden Fighters Aces is an very addicting game!!! For under 20 dollars, you get three games in one: Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters 2 and Raiden Fighters Jet. They add Xbox Live to each Raiden Fighters game which I love because I can post my best scores so everybody can see. I love the different game modes they have on each game like Boss Rush, Expert, Full Run, etc. There is also an two-player cooperative play offline.
Summary: First of all, let me say that I'm not a die hard arcade-style gamer. I enjoy a wide variety of games, but I've never gotten huge into these types of games. Raiden Fighters Aces is a great collection to own. I've only put about 4 hours into this so far, completing Raiden Fighters and Raiden Fighters 2 on a couple of different difficulties. The visuals are awesome.
Summary: I found no problems with this game that would make me give it less than 5 stars. You get to choose one of three games on one disk. Raiden 1,2,3. Each game offers tons of planes. The screen is as customizable as possible. You cannot stretch these images as far as your widescreen because its a port from arcades.
