Summary: I bought this used form Twin Cities pawn. It was shipped and received in a timely manner, and the disc quality was excellent. It also came with all the booklets and the bonus disc that a lot of times is left out when bought used.
Summary: The reviews have been unduly harsh. I was wary of getting the game but found it to be a fun bit of shooting. It is far better than Perfect Dark Zero... wide spaces, odd landscape, the same sudden violences as Doom 3.
Conclusion: Quake 4 may not be very next gen but it does come preety close. The controls were very simple to get down path for quick gameplay and the selection of weapons make it a game where no two battles will be the same. SINGLE PLAYER The single player was very well put together but lacked a bit.
Summary: Hey, it's Quake. It's a sci-fi war. This is the grandson of all first-person shooters (with father "Doom" and grandfather "Wolfenstein"). You wander winding corridors full of pipes, circuitry, and flickering lights, and you shoot anything that moves (except your own squad, of course).
Summary: I'm just going to insert a few pros and cons to consider in your purchasing decision for QUAKE 4. PROS- +Awesome single player campaign +Cheap, can find used for less than 15 dollars +High Replay Value +Good graphics for what you pay for CONS- -Multiplayer is lacking -Achievements are very difficult...
Summary: First, I've read reviews on a number of prominent Internet game review sites complaining about how poorly Quake 4 was adapted to the 360 but it's not true. The loading times are slightly longer than other games but there is no in-game action delay at all. Second, this game is awesome.
