A decent game

Josh Hyland, Amazon
19 February 2015
  • Summary: Quake 4 was my first quake game I have ever played it came with quake 2 to give the player an understanding of the story I guess which was convenient but it sometimes got a little buggy and the story so far is not the best.

It was so horrible that I liked it.

John Redcorn, Amazon
24 December 2013
  • Summary: Most people would have given this maybe two stars. I'll admit, some of the aspects of this game are terrible. There is no real story, the graphics are not up to par, and the levels overall feel familiar and generic. But there were some aspects of the game that made me give it 4 stars.

Lots of technical issues and dead multiplayer bring the long awaited sequel down

Richard Baker "BinaryMessiah", Amazon
29 March 2012
  • Summary: The Good: Portrays a great atmosphere, pretty good graphics and sound, fun vehicle sections, weapon upgrades let you mix up strategy, very gruesome The Bad: Framerate can't keep up with the action, no one plays online, lame ending, feels redundant after awhile, it's kind of short This marks the...

Halo plus much gore minus much of the fun

bobby Reed, Amazon
7 July 2011
  • Summary: Let me start off by saying, I LOVED all the quake, doom, duke, serious, hexin, e.c.t type games. But this game just doesn't cut it. Pro: Fairly long game if you play it on hardest difficulty. A good twist here and there to keep me interested in the storyline. Plus, you get a Quake 2 port.

Just Alright

Molly Kellen, Amazon
2 January 2009
  • Summary: I originally bought this game for the PC and really enjoyed it. So, I bought the Xbox 360 edition for my boyfriend for Christmas. The campaign doesn't exactly "suck you in" but it's entertaining. Fans of previous Quake games will most likely enjoy it.

Great graphics, but the action is repetitive and predictable

I Love Music "cbr1000", Amazon
16 November 2006
  • Summary: If you've got an HDTV and the right hookup, the graphics are incredible. With a 5.1 system that has a decent subwoofer, the sound effects are great too. Dialog is, as others have said, rather muffled at times.

Quake IV

swapgame
22 August 2006
  • Conclusion: I've seen better, but being a limited number of 360 games at the moment, its ok. I played in hard mode and was challenging at times. Definitly a renter and not a buyer. Weapons are good with some wicked upgrades.
