Cons: graphics engine not optimized. Games suffers major framerate slowdowns in both campaign and multiplayer. Multiplayer especially is particularly disappointing because of the stuttering. The graphics are not any better than Quake 3 so this should play buttery smooth on the X360
Conclusion: I've only played the demo on multiplayer, but I have to say that these are some of the worst graphics I've ever experienced since 3d games hit the market over 10 years ago. They can be compared to Unreal Tournament for the dreamcast, only with a far worse frame rate. An absolute laughing stock.
Summary: Ive played this on the PC so i decided to puchase it when i got my 360.. WTF i was under some impression that the 360 was a killer next gen consol. this game looks terrable and the game play is shite.
Summary: Description did not mention that this was the 2012 reissue, the major difference being that it does not come with the "Making of" DVD that contains the Xbox 360-compatible version of Quake 2. As this disk was the impetus for my order, this was extremely disappointing. Oh, and Quake 4 is mediocre.
