Summary: I didnt find this game to be much fun at all. The graphics are bad with sloppy textures. The sound is terrible because of the ugly voices. The gameplay is just plain bad. I would not recommend this game.
Conclusion: I've only played the demo on multiplayer, but I have to say that these are some of the worst graphics I've ever experienced since 3d games hit the market over 10 years ago. They can be compared to Unreal Tournament for the dreamcast, only with a far worse frame rate. An absolute laughing stock. The sounds are choppy, the animations are a joke. The framerate sits at about 5 fps with a few other players bouncing around the arena. The physics are absolute zilch.
Summary: Description did not mention that this was the 2012 reissue, the major difference being that it does not come with the "Making of" DVD that contains the Xbox 360-compatible version of Quake 2. As this disk was the impetus for my order, this was extremely disappointing. Oh, and Quake 4 is mediocre. Unispired gameplay and this reissue does not fix the poor performance and slowdown. A poor use of 20 dollars.
