Quake 4 Xbox 360 Review

Console Obsession
30 May 2010
  • Excerpt: The fourth Quake game has a lot in common with Doom 3. It’s not quite as atmospheric, but Quake 4 could still almost pass as another Doom 3 expansion. We can’t understand why the games are so similar in so many ways, surely id aren’t that much out of ideas that they can’t separate two of their own...

Quake 4 by Activision

Game Monkeys
20 May 2007
  • Summary: In the end Quake 4 is a passable shooter that does most everything fine, it just doesn't do any of it with gusto. Honestly, it feels a lot like someone went into your game library, grabbed any one of a dozen old shooters, gave them a graphical enema, and repackaged it as a sequel.
  • Pros: A great graphical showing for the launch of your brand new console.
  • Cons: It should have a label that reads, "Warning: This Box Contains No Originality What-So-Ever."

Quake IV

Xbox Evolved
25 June 2006
  • Summary: Quake IV needs co-op badly. It needed splitscreen badly too. What we are stuck with is 2-8 players on system link and on Xbox Live. There will be content downloads in the future but who knows how long it will take to get to the point where there is enough content online to keep you attract.
  • Pros: An actual interesting storyline to go along with good gameplay.
  • Cons: Only 8 Players on Xbox Live. No Co-op or split screen

STACKED with Daniel Negreanu Review

IGN Entertainment
30 May 2006
  • Conclusion: If EA’s Tiger Woods made you a better golf player in real life, you’d probably care less about the visuals, the sound, and the general structure of the title, right? You’ll be faced with a similar scenario when playing STACKED with Daniel Negreanu .
