Summary: Of course the title is biased and somewhat misleading. It's been a while since the game is off everyone's radar (if it was ever on any radars i.e.). But I just came across it on Amazon and back in the memory lane it took me. Some two years ago, I picked this game up in a whim, popped it in, and I remember I played it some four straight hours.
Summary: This game is a steal for 2 bucks, used. The gameplay is very good. There is no split screen or system link?!? I'm sure this game was very fun for a couple months on Xbox Live when the game first came out, but most people buying this game now may find themselves playing this game alone for a few days, then off to the shelf to collect some dust.
Summary: "Pure" is a very fun game, especially at first while learning the tricks and customizing your ride. It does tend to get repetitive over time, but it is still fun pick up and play for some off road racing excitement. Here are my observations: Pros - + Customization; you can build your ATV completely from scratch, selecting a large array of frames, motors, suspensions, brakes, tires, and designs + Controls; fairly intuitive so there is short learning curve + Tricks; lots...
High octane adrenaline pumping racing, but very repetitive

Summary: The Good: Beautiful graphics, realistic physics, cool and robust trick system, deep ATV customization, fun event types, fast sense of speed The Bad: AI is painfully difficult to beat, only 3 event types, no rider customization, gets old after awhile When I saw the Pure demo on XBLM I just blew it off. After seeing how people were having so much fun with the game I downloaded the demo and boy was I in for a treat!
Summary: If anyone has ever played Downhill Domination for the PS2, which was an amazing game, this is the closest thing I've ever found to it. The sense of speed is really nice, the controls are simple, and it's just a blast to play. One big con is no splitscreen multiplayer, if I had friends I would really hate this. Also, the tracks just aren't varied enough. They're different, but they almost all feel like the same track with a different skin painted on.
