Summary: Do you remember where "your" Galaga machine was in your town back in the day? If you can answer this question, buying the XBLA version of Galaga should be a no-brainer. It isn't a perfect port and the kiddies might not "get it", but for us 80's (or earlier) children Galaga is worth checking out. Oh, and by the way. My Galaga machine was tucked into the corner of the arcade at Head Pin Lanes, the local bowling alley. Galaga is a perfect fit for the Xbox Live Arcade.
Pros: Classic gameplay, Nostalgia factor is through the roof, Addictive, Easy Achievements
Cons: Small gameplay board, Continue system ruins replayability, Slight control lag
Excerpt: Describing Pure as a realistic racing sim as the same as saying the Pope is stoned as hell each Christmas evening and plays strip darts with gay members of Al Quaida. In other words: you couldn’t be further away from the truth.
Summary: took some harsh criticism a few months ago when their title was released on the Xbox Live Arcade Marketplace. Since then, the company has worked to fix some of the bugs and problems that it had with the initial release. In late December, the company released what is now known as , once again for the Xbox Live Arcade. Summary: Pure puts quite an interesting twist on the arcade off-road style racing genre, something that was needed if this game was to stand out amongst the pack. Pure does a lot of things right, and will definitely make your jaw drop the first time you go airborne near 100 feet in the air. When it comes to creating memorable moments, Pure has it down perfectly.

game provides high adrenaline entertainment with
its raucous music and impressive trick system.
The action is very intense and at the same time,
unbelievably smooth. What makes Pure so

Excerpt: Pure is the latest ATV entry on the 360, and it comes from Black Rock Studio and Disney Interactive. The game revolves around stringing together long sequences of tricks and catching a massive amount of completely over-the-top air in some seriously gorgeous environments.
Pros: Trick system is fun and fluid., Graphics are gorgeaous., Online play is smooth and enjoyable.
Cons: Has the depth of a kiddie pool., Fun factor wears off rather quickly., Bike construction interface is a bit clumsy.
Conclusion: THE VERDICT: At worst, this is one of the best rental options this year. It doesn't have the depth or longevity of the big simulation racers but for sheer hair-raising off road action, a new franchise is born. Grow a mullet, get some kahunas and change your name to Cletus - this is grievous bodily petrol. Supped up lawnmowers have never been so much fun!
