Pure

Pure is a video game that was designed especially for off-road and trick-racing fanatics. It was developed by Black Rock Studio (formerly Climax Racing) which is known for its previous games under the Moto GP and ATV Offroad Fury franchises.

This racing video game was published by the Disney Interactive Studios. In North America, it was released across multiple platforms on September 16, 2008. The game is not only available for the Xbox 360 but also for the Sony Playstation 3 and Microsoft Windows.

In the game, there are 30 different race tracks for the players to choose from. The race tracks are set in different parts of the globe including Glamis, Italy, New Mexico, New Zealand, Ocotillo Wells, Thailand, and Wyoming.

In Pure, Players can master up to 80 different tricks that increase in difficulty from Basic to Pro. Apart from this, there are special tricks that are unique to each character. Also, players can opt to customize their ATVs and choose from more than 65,000 possible combinations of parts, paint jobs, and graphic packs.

Pure can be played in different modes including the race mode, the sprint mode, and the freestyle mode. Apart from this, it offers an online multiplayer mode which can be played by up to 16 players.

Accolades

At the E3 Media and Business Summit in 2008, Pure was named the Best Racing Game of E3 2008 by the Game Critics Awards. The Official Xbox Magazine of the US has also given the game the Editor’s Choice Award. In addition, it has been named by GameTrailers.com as the Best Driving Game and by IGN as the Best Racing Game on Xbox 360.
