Summary: Although better than the original, this game had problems of it's own. Most missions had similar repeatable tactics, and at times you were forced to not use your awesome powers that you are given, which is the whole premise of the game. Other small issues such as camera controls switching randomly - I use inverted Y axis and the controls would switch to standard mid fight/mid mission causing me to have to pause the game to fix this.
Summary: This game has an auto save feature so good luck on knowing when you can quit, I played for a half an hour and shut down the system and it put me back at the beginning almost, so I was pretty piss't off right from the start, why they just don't make games anymore with a save when you want feature is beyond me. I can't shoot anything yet, so that kind of blo's, no real fights yet, just running around terrorizing people and taking their form.
Summary: Great game, but the extra content that is was supposed to come with, the codes were already used. I figured they would be use since its a used game but it didn't say that the codes were used and i paid extra for this particular game because i thought i was going to get the codes with it. I wouldn't wasted the extra money on the one if i had known that i wasnt getting the extra content.
Summary: I play this game mostly for the freedom to do things that I couldn't do in other games--run up walls, fly around NYC, slice a crowd of zombies in half with a whip arm... And for those things, the game was just as great as the first. And the story was a little intriguing. I liked that they turned the protagonist from the first game into the antagonist of this game. It's a nice twist. But I generally, the story was lacking. And confusing.
Summary: I read the lower rated reviews on this game and I dont agree with them. If you are a pc gamer then you wouldnt like this game or even the first one for that matter, Im not a pc gamer I play the 360 and ps3 exclusively so I cant compaire this game or any other with pc game playing which I have to imagin is better than the console games but enough of that and onto what I think of pt2 first off I like the new moves that heller gets but dont like what you have to go through...
Summary: I played Prototype and enjoyed it... I'm playing Prototype 2 and enjoying it too. However, I can't help but feel like it's lacking in the story department. There's barely anything there, and what IS there, I'm just not that interested in. This series will never reach the heights of, say, Assassin's Creed/Uncharted/Rockstar Games because there simply isn't enough to get invested in. A game can be fun to play... and Prototype IS fun enough...
Summary: If you want to run around a fictionalized Manhattan using super powers to annihilate your enemies this game is for you. If you want a game with good characters, an original story and varied gameplay Prototype 2 will disappoint you. The game is really fun, but has zero depth.
