The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: KOFUM features only two true “gimme” achievements: “Perfect Match” is fairly easy to come by, as is the single Assist Attack move that needs to be completed for the achievement of the same name. The rest are either difficult offline objectives or contain Live multiplayer action.

[Prototype]

Square-Go
10 January 2010
  • Excerpt: When Prototype first surfaced, it looked great but seemed a little too close to the increasingly common ‘guy with superpowers has to save the day while making lots of karma choices’ template. Thankfully, the development time has been used wisely and the final product has ended up being so much more.

Very violent and profane action game with extreme gore.

Common Sense Media
21 December 2009
  • Summary: Parents need to know that this game is absolutely not intended for children. It is exceptionally gory, thanks to the protagonist's ability to grow claws and use them to slice through enemies. Streets often become painted in blood and littered with body parts. It's also extremely profane.
