No GT here!

donnie ramkissoon, Amazon

  • Summary: My expectations of driving games are really high and this just did not cut the mustard for me... I'm looking for the GT experience, but it seems really hard to find...

It's a Good Racing Game

Pronounce, Amazon
7 May 2013
  • Summary: I've been looking for something a little different than Forza Motorsports and thought I'd give this title a try. It isn't a bad game, but it wasn't enough of the wheel-to-wheel action that I was looking for to pull me away from Forza 4. The game physics aren't as comprehensive as Forza, but their very playable.

Slightly Disappointed

Andrew, Amazon
2 January 2011
  • Summary: I was a huge fan of PGR2, everything about it was perfect. I skipped 3 and went straight to 4. They've changed almost everything, there are no longer any multipliers for tying kudos moves together, the soundtrack is awful, and the story is a little frustrating since you get stuck with the same car for every race in a championship. Another complaint is that because there is dynamic weather, they like to make it rain in almost every race which is annoying and unrealistic.

Newer, Different, But Not Necessarily Better

mrrenison, epinions.com
4 March 2009
  • Summary: A lot like PGR3, with some new tricks. Unfortunately, the new tricks are hit and miss, so not enough of an improvement to vault it pass its predecessor.
  • Pros: Takes the good things from PGR3 and adds polish, motorcycles, and weather challenges
  • Cons: Can't repeat races, motorcycles are dumbed down, seizure inducing lightning

Great racing game when you have friends coming over + Great seller zoverstock

12 September 2013
  • Summary: I like PGR4, The offline mode is fun when you want you just get home from work and you want a quick fun game to play or if you get your friend round for a few beers. However as this considered as an old game there are not many people on the online mode (only the hardcore racers, 3-5 players, last time i played) so dont buy this game to play on the xbox live because there wont be many people online.

Make sure you have live!!!

Popcorn Player, amazon.co.uk
10 December 2011
  • Summary: PGR4 is an immense racing simulator game. Graphics and car handling characteristics are all bang up to date and are breath taking to say the least. Playing the game online can make players lose days of their lives lol as I found out. The online 'bulldog' game (essentially playing tug in cars) I found particularly fun, as did the bulk of players playing PGR4 online.

Not Bad, But Gets Too Repetitive

Mr. K. Cinar "kcinar93", amazon.co.uk
4 March 2010
  • Summary: Advantages: Excellent city designs however, you cannot race through these cities but pass them on a side view. This means you won't be smashing up anything but merely racing on race tracks. There are a lot of range of cars available but many greats such as the Bugatti are missing. Weather conditions such as the rain add depth to the game but the snow doesn't feel realistic.
