Summary: Here we have a pretty cool racing game that has many tracks, cars, and other features but only has moderate as opposed to high-end graphics. The scenery is okay, but lacks in comparison to the 4th game and so does the overall graphics.
Summary: Beautiful looking, ordinary in play. For example, compare it to Forza Motorsport on the xbox - which provides slightly less detail on the backgrounds, but a much more immersive simulation. Crash your car in PGR and all you have to do is gear down to first and get going.
Summary: I do not want to turn away readers by this considerably lower score, but I fail to see the true and fantastic appeal of Project Gotham Racing 3. Yes, it is undeniable the production values are outstanding; including the graphics and depth which this racing game evokes.
Summary: Sure the game has great graphics and sound/music, but if you have someone next to you that wants to play online you have to take turns, both cannot play at the same time. In PGR2 you were able to do split screen and race or do cat and mouse online, but they have taken that mode off from this game.
Summary: This is a good example of a solid game that just needed further refinement before being shipped. Like the first two games, PGR3 wants you to feel the rush of racing fast cars in typically tight tracks while showing off your style.
Summary: cars aren't as in depth as Forza 3 or 4 but it's a fun game I play on the easiest levels otherwise way to hard for me and I can keep moving up. I left my xbox on when I was playing and when it shut down it erased all my saved data, so be sure to back out of this game so auto save can work.
