Excerpt: Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 is a pretty good game, I bought this one late, partially because the reviews hadn’t been overwhelming and also because it gets cheaper the closer it gets to the new edition being released.
Pros: Much more variable to play than FIFA which is interesting
Cons: The graphics, sound and options are inferior

Excerpt: I have played the Pro Evolution games for the last 4 years after finally getting converted from FIFA and I have to say I am glad I changed! In my opinion the game play is as real as it can get however I expect this to be even more improved in the next release (whch is next week).
Pros: Good league set up, good game play
Cons: no real club names and some false player names

We even came to love the made up named of Merseyside Red and Roberto Larcos, it some how added to the charm of the whole...
Excerpt: For many years, Pro Evolution Soccer defeated FIFA hands down in terms of playability. Sadly, this dominance seems to have ended. PES 2008 was considered a terrible failure whereas FIFA 08 was a success, KONAMI had to do something to change that this year, and yet they didn't.
