Pro Evolution Soccer 2008

Video Game Generation
10 November 2007
  • Summary: I enjoy playing sports titles, but in order to keep my interest over a long period of time they need features. PES 2008 is a fun game, but it has too many incomplete areas for me to truly enjoy it. The lack of Germany and the US national teams really killed offline multiplayer sessions for my group of friends.
  • Pros: Easy to pick up, Offline multiplayer tournaments, Master League, Robust editing options
  • Cons: Lack of German and US National teams, Online mode lacks tournaments, leagues, and everything else outside of ranked/unranked matches, No easy/Terms of Service-legal way to transfer community roster updates, Lack of a true tutorial mode, Horrible music

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 review (X360)

6 November 2007
  • Excerpt: It’s comparable to the thirty-something footballer in the twilight of his career; once a magician on the field, but now a fallen star who is content to sit on the bench for his massive pay cheque. PES needs to be the teenage upstart who’s making his way in the game; eager to learn, determined to succeed, and playing with passion.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008

11 June 2007
  • Excerpt: Loyalty is a strange beast. Often noble, but equally as frequently it pushes the boundaries of reason beyond breaking point. Football fans spend a lot of time thinking why on Earth they take up their day to follow their team across the country to eat stale meat pies and drink grotty Bovril, only to be rewarded with a 1-0 defeat and a delayed train home. Yet, no matter how depressing it gets, they’re always there cheering them on.

Test : Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 sur Xbox 360

7 February 2014
