Summary: Prey was a pretty decent game, but got pretty old towards the end. I gave it a low lasting appeal because it started getting a little to repetitive. I bought it cheap for getting a gamerscore boost and it worked. I got about 700 points by just beating the game. I had some fun here and there, but one thing that really annoyed me was the loud heart beat everytime your health would go low.
Summary: From what I understand, Prey has been in the making since the days of the N64 and has gone through many iterations. Stacking it up to current shooters, I can assure you the game hasn't changed much since its development cycle in that early era (which is bad for a next-gen game and sadly the norm for a launch title).
Conclusion: Like Doom 3 with portals and gravity tricks the level design was below par i had to really push myself to get threw this. if you don't completely love FPS I wouldn't. the fact there are only about 3 enemy types really sucks the fun out this aswell.
Conclusion: Very good showcase of the potential of the 360. Yes its short, but not too short that you would feel cheated out of your money. Where this game probably comes into its own is the online play. Im not on XBOX live, YET!!!! but I can see that it would work very well. Only criticism I have is that a couple of the weapons lack a bit of oomph, or wow factor. On the whole a good game to rent, but if you are on XBOX live I think it is one you should buy.
Summary: Prey's story focuses on the abduction of Tommy, Native American Cherokee and the abduction of his family and his towns inhabitants, by aliens. These are not your typical grey aliens, though. This group seem to inhabit a weird organic structure, at least partly cannibalised from the town and, gruesomely, its inhabitants. Your enemies also seem to comprise previously slaughtered and assimilated alien species, as well as mutilated cyborg humans.
Pros: If you like gore in your shooters this has buckets.
Summary: Anyone who was into PC Gaming and in particular first person shooters 10-15 years ago will most likely have heard of 'Prey'. It's a game that has continually been disappearing and reappearing on the new released radar for far too long. With 15 years to work on and perfect the game, you may be under the impression that Prey has got to be some sort of revolutionary classic - but 15 years is a long time in the gaming industry, in which genres and technologies have changed...
Pros: Plods along quite nicely, a few nice touches
Summary: Prey is one of those games that was great for both online and offline play back when the game was first released... now, the game is great for single player campaign playing, but not so good for the online multiplayer function. The graphics for this game are amazing, which is another of the great selling points. The number one selling point for this game is the game physics.
Pros: Unusual game physics
Cons: Not enough new online players to allow a decent online game
Summary: Prey is a first person shooter for the Microsoft Xbox 360 games console. The story in this game is you are an man who is an Indian, soon the aliens invade and take you and your girlfriend prisoner. You must escape from the aliens and rescue your friends and family. In this game you will discover lots of exotic looking alien weapons, these are all fun to use and fire.
