Excerpt: Continuing on with their “Hits!” range, PopCap are back again with another collection of four titles on one retail disc. The biggest names to grace the compilation this time are obviously Plants vs. Zombies and the highly addictive Zuma. Padding out the collection are Heavy Weapon and Feeding Frenzy 2. Heavy Weapon is a hell of a lot of fun to play and one for fans of shoot’em ups, while Feeding Frenzy 2 is an update on the fishing chomping madness of the first game.
Conclusion: Overall like the first volume there’s not too much in the way of a bad word that can be said about PopCap Hits Volume 2; it’s a solid collection of really decent games. Some are better than others, but that is to be expected when volumes such as these are released. I did however prefer the first volume’s games, but Plants Vs. Zombies really makes this collection. It is fantastic, simple and just pretty damn awesome.
Pros: They’re all solid titles. Nothing bad can be said about them at all, it’s all down to taste. Lots of replay value.
Cons: They could have added something that wasn’t another Feeding Frenzy, surely?
