Summary: I was actually amazed at how good this game was for only a few bucks. The gameplay makes you feel like a pirate, but at the same time it doesnt touch it all the way. The swordplay is fun and so are the characters, granted that the facial expressions dont vary much. Its not a bad game, but I dont think alot of gamers would get into it unless your a Pirates of the Caribbean fan or just a Pirate fan in general.
Summary: This game is a lot of fun, though it doesn't offer up a ton of challenge in the difficulty department. It's enjoyable to play and listen to the actual cast of the movie speak. The graphics are mediocre they could have been better but it wasn't something that was necessary. I enjoyed the game when I had it rented, and I'm thinking of purchasing it currently. It's only $6.99, so it's a must-get for me. I've played a majority of games (excluding sports) that are on the 360.
Summary: There are rare gems, games based on movies that don't suck, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, sadly is not one of them. Pirates is graphically pretty well done, but gameplay itself is incredibly simplistic and boring. It also seems as though they were in such a rush to make this game they forgot to watch the movie, because the game and movies are wildly different in parts.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Xbox 360): Fun kids game
30 October 2009
Summary: This game was suprisingly fun as an action adventure. You can play as Jack, Will and Elizebeth (if that's her name). You generally all ahve the same kinda of attacks with your sword but the game is not half bad. You scurry across the story of the game making your way through some environments which you think could look better but they play well.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Xbox 360): Yo ho.. yo ho... a pirates game for me
7 September 2009
Summary: Everyone must have heard about Pirates of the Caribbean and the legendary captain Jack Sparrow. The movies were highly successful and disney decided to cash in on the success with game adaptations. The result is an average game but slighlty better compared to some of the aweful game adaptations from other movies and tv shows. The plot has you voyage the seven seas and follows the 2nd and 3rd films which is good as you have more source material.
Pros: Gorgeous levels, some nice fun gameplay, 2 movies in 1 game
Summary: From the great trilogy comes great game. Whilsty most gamers feel regrretful of film-tie in games this one shouldn't disappoint. The storyline sticks mostly true to the film with gamers getting to play as Jack Sparrow and many other pirates of the movie. Female gamers won't be disappointed as they will get to play as the heroine Elizabeth Swan.
Pros: Great gameplay
Cons: Finding unlockables can get annoying without the use of a guide
