Summary: well i got the tables cheap on an indie bundle, so i tried them all for about 10 hours now... i have to say that most of them are well made, and really addicting, you cant deny that. the main problem are the ridiculous high prices for additional tables. who is going to pay a price of 90€ for a few pinball tables? i would agree its a good game, and i would even pay 30€ to get all table ables, but 90?
Summary: Only negative is the flippers have only one "strength" setting. You can't hammer or tap the flippers, reducing some fun as the table becomes predictable over time. Great game with *Amazing* demo system. You can infinitely play as many demos of every table as long as you like, once you get past a "demo score limit" you go into sudden death. The demo doesn't allow you to experience all the table has to offer (missions/ multipliers, etc.
Summary: Pinball FX 2 is a great game and a great pinball simulation. Hardcore real-world pinball table geeks will find flaws with the simulation, but I think it's safe to say that this is as good as it's gotten. Most of the tables are what are known as "fantasy" tables. That is, they do some things that aren't possible or would be prohibitive with a real table. That said, they're almost all really fun to play.
Summary: One of the best pinball game I've ever played, with an honest port for the PC. Zen Studios does make the best (even if impossible to make real) pinball tables, and the Pinball FX 2 make a good port from the XBOX, with added options (from camera to graphics) and Steam integration for Leaderboards. If you like pinball games, get it, try every table and buy the ones you think are best (it i s really a matter of taste).
Summary: It's been a lifelong dream to have a room full of classic pinball machines. But now, thanks to this game (and the Marvel and Star Wars franchises), I may save myself untold thousands stick this on Steam on your big-screen and it's just a better experience. These tables do things that real pinballs will never do, which is have totally interactive, immersive graphics on the table. No b roken parts, and no quarters, either. Brilliant!
Summary: Since I am "old school' I really enjoy pinball... All the way back to when I was a lil kid in the 70's (yes the 70's were real) Pinball FX2 is the absolute best Video Pinball game I have ever experienced... Plenty of tables to choose from, reasonably priced, and plenty of fun and challenges...
Summary: Good pinball game, though it does feel "sticky" with some of the physics at times. Balls will snap to some surfaces especially on the older tables. They recently added a free table(sorcerers lair) to anyone who plays. The options of buy a table, or buy a collection of tables are decent enough especially if you enjoy pinball games. Doesn't quite scratch my pinball desires, but it does it well enough that I've paid for the classic pack. As usual, your mileage may vary.
Summary: The PC port of one of the best pinball games on consoles is finally available! Lots of variety in the tables that are available. Excellent physics. Some of the voice acting is a bit corny, but it doesn't detract from the game too badly. Would have liked to have seen more tables available at release (as the game is basically "pay for the pack of tables you want") but they give you a "try be fore you buy" option for every table and more are on the way.
Summary: Very average pinball game, lots of DLC to buy though so that's ....er...yeah...don't bother unless you particularly like ruining keyboards and paying for things that should be included in the game
