Summary: When I ordered this game I had already played through several years earlier and knew it was a fun game, what with all of the pillaging and slaying of FAT STINKING HARFLINGS, but I had forgotten how pathetic the graphics were when it came to movements of NPCs and their mouths, where they would say something and their mouth would move in a weird way, taking the entire jaw for a single word.
Summary: Pros - Game is easy to pick up and play; great art direction and sense of humor (minions are cute, charming, and hilarious at times, as are NPCs); difficulty level not punishing; lampoons Lord of the Rings and other fantasy elements brilliantly. Cons - Charm and humor begin to wear off after several hours of play time; camera feels as though it is working against you at times; feels quite a bit like Pikmin for Gamecube/Wii in its puzzle-solving elements (maybe that's a...
Summary: Although the game is about being as bad and destructive as you can be, its sort of cute in a fun twisted way. The game has PG-13 type limits of how bad you can be so it's relatively benign. Its relatively easy to figure out if you're anything of a gamer. Tired of first person shooters? Try this one for the heck of it.
Summary: I really liked this game, it was cheap as well. the best part were the minions, red, green, brown, and blue. Each having their own ability to help along in the game. Having the option to have zero corruption or be totally corrupt plays a part in how your Overlord will look in the end. Would give a higher score but the controls were frustrating at times.
Summary: This game had a really fun premise. I liked FABLE so I liked the idea of minions, evil bidding, and anti-hero game play. This game was really fun overall. It became frustrating with the awkward control of the minions (the best part of the game). Buy it used. You have fun. For a little while at least.
Summary: I loved the gme at first... then it really got old. was really fun doing whatever you wanted but you were foten lost and found yourself going in circles quite often. really isnt a short game but it definately loses its touch after the fiorst few hours played. If they would have added a few more things to do it would be better.
Summary: This is an ok game. It plays like everyone else says it does, but there are definately some programming flaws throughout. They mostly happen when you do things in an order the game does not expect you to. One area for example, you must kill the musician to get your creatures to stop dancing in a trance. I did that. I left the area for something and came back, so they started dancing in their trance again getting killed by the locals.
Excerpt: This is one of those silly games that keeps you laughing from the minute you pick up the controller, to the minute you put it down. Although there is the misconception that this is like Dungeon Keeper, it is actually a very unique game. The plot of the game is that you are an evil overlord of a ruined kingdom. You are controlling both the overlord and his little army of minions. You can upgrade your armour and weapons by sacrificing your minions to a forge.
